“My Hero Academia” chapter 255 will follow the previous story titled “You Could Be More of a Hero than Anyone.” The upcoming story will begin with a flashback from the time when Shota, Hizashi and Oboro were still students and going to school together.
The chapter will begin from the time before Oboro died while they were on an internship activity. At that time, the three of them were planning to have their own agency and after Oboro said the phrase "Let’s all form an agency together," he was crushed to death by a collapsing structure. Shota reflected on what happened to his friend and it came back to him how they did their best to become heroes together.
Kurogiri’s background
Elsewhere in “My Hero Academia” chapter 255, Kurogiri wakes up to see that an investigation is ongoing for the death of Oboro. He said that he had not seen Shota since the U.S.J. invasion.
During the investigation, Hizashi realized that the black fog on Kurogiri don’t disappear even when Shota looks at him. It was said that this means that his body is definitely made of black substance and this led them to form the theory that he could be Oboro in another body.
On the discussion board on Reddit, it was mentioned that Kurogiri might be a Nomu that was formed using Oboro Shirakumo's body. This theory gets even more convincing when Shota noticed the big similarities between Oboro’s lively personality and Kurogiri's desire to protect Tomura.
“My Hero Academia” chapter 255 will show Shota being expelled but the was accepted again to the U.A. later and this was revealed by All Might himself. In the present day, Shota usually expels students who he thinks don’t understand what self-sacrifice is because he wants the students to be better. At any rate, Kourogiri will also reveal that all he wants to do is to protect Tomura.
Release date
“My Hero Academia” chapter 255 will be be released on Dec. 22 on Shone Jump Weekly. Fans can see more spoilers as the raw scans are coming out earlier on Dec. 20, 2019, as per Otakukart.
