ALACHUA, Fla., Aug. 08, 2017 -- NCCER recently revised and released the 9th edition of its Electrical curriculum. Consistently ranking as one of the most popular craft choices, all four levels have been updated to meet industry regulations and safety standards.
Revisions have been made to the content, art and format of the curriculum. Changes include new instructor lesson plans for all modules, along with new art and a new standardized design. New art for the program has been provided by leading industry manufacturers and contractors to ensure the knowledge of both standard electrical tools and the latest technology. The curriculum has been updated to meet the 2017 NFPA 70: National Electric Code®.
Significant changes to various modules include an updated Electrical Safety (26102-17) module and LED lighting information added to both Levels 2 and 3. Additionally, a new edition of the Fundamentals of Crew Leadership module (46101-17) has been added to Electrical Level 4. All four levels are now available in the NCCER Bookstore and for custom book build on Pearson Collections. Instructor resources for the 9th edition will only be available in the new Instructor Resource Center.
