NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, 4070 Ti SUPER, and 4080 SUPER GPUs are available online in custom and FE models at MSRP and premium prices.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, 4070 Ti SUPER, and 4080 SUPER GPUs
NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPUs will go on sale in retail starting next week, with the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER. The graphics cards cost $599 US for the 4070 SUPER, $799 US for the 4070 Ti SUPER, and $999 US for the 4080 SUPER at MSRP.
While the bulk of variants will be priced at MSRP, there are certain luxury bespoke designs that will be priced extra. Based on listings by several US-based merchants, we can see that the premium for custom designs is between $50 and $100 US, which isn't too exorbitant. However, greater prices are possible with specific high-end designs, as per WCCFTech.
BestBuy, a US shop, presently lists the most custom variations for all three graphics cards. Starting at the top, we have the RTX 4080 SUPER, which is priced between $999 US and $1099. The good news is that these prices are still significantly lower than the MSRP for the GeForce RTX 4080 Non-SUPER graphics card. The Founders Edition variants for all three GPUs are available at MSRP ($599/$799/$999), with just a few custom models priced separately.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 SUPER GPU Prices (BestBuy as of January 14):
- MSI RTX 4080 SUPER Ventus 3X - $1099 US
- NVIDIA RTX 4080 SUPER FE MSRP - $999 US
- MSI RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Ventus 3X - $899 US
- Gigabyte 4070 Ti SUPER Gaming OC - $849 US
- MSI RTX 4070 SUPER Gaming X Slim - $649 US
- MSI RTX 4070 SUPER Ventus 3X OC - $629 US
- MSI RTX 4070 SUPER Ventus 2X OC - $609 US
- Gigabyte 4070 SUPER Windforce OC - $599 US
- NVIDIA RTX 4070 SUPER FE MSRP - $599 US
Given that the MSI GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER Ventus 3X is the base model, we may expect the higher-end Gaming X, SUPRIM X, and EXPERT series to command premiums ranging from $150 to $200 USD.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, on the other hand, has only two models listed: the Gaming OC by Gigabyte ($50 US premium) and the MSI Ventus 3X ($100 US premium). The premium pricing for the RTX 4070 SUPER is between $9 and $50 US, which is minimal in comparison to the premiums charged for the rest of the series. The card also comes in a variety of styles with different MSRPs, with the MSI Gaming X being the most expensive.
Newegg has also listed a number of variations for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER GPU at MSRP. The remaining variants have not yet been priced, although they are expected to cost up to $50 US more, depending on the model. The RTX 4070 SUPER will be the first to launch on January 17th, so stay tuned for our performance evaluation of the first RTX 40 SUPER launch, with others following a week later.
