Nothing Phone (2a) Debuts at MWC: Dual 50MP Cameras, MediaTek Chip, New Colors

Nothing Phone (2a) set to impress with high-end camera specs and stylish color options at MWC 2024.

More leaks outline the specs of the Nothing Phone (2a), including its camera and display, ahead of its probable introduction at MWC in February.

Nothing Phone (2a) Specifications Reveal 50MP Camera, 1080p Display

According to SmartPrix, the Nothing Phone (2a) will have a rather limited spec sheet, which is in line with the notion that this is a low-cost smartphone. The gadget will reportedly include a dual-camera configuration, similar to the standard Phone (2), with two 50MP sensors.

The first sensor, a Samsung S5KGN9, would be the primary shooter and is also included in the Moto G84, which was unveiled earlier this year. Meanwhile, an ultrawide camera would employ the Samsung S5KJN1 50MP sensor, which appears to be the same one used in Phone (2).

It has the same 1/2.76-inch sensor size and 0.64-micron pixel size as its predecessor. Meanwhile, the 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor utilized in the Nothing Phone (2) and OnePlus 10 Pro would be used for the selfie camera.

Nothing Phone (2a) will reportedly sport a 120Hz AMOLED panel with a resolution of 10842412. Visionox is expected to supply the panel, which is expected to size 6.7 inches.

Nothing Phone 2a’s MediaTek Dimensity 7200, New Color Options

The gadget will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200, as previously reported. Aside from that, this fresh rumor indicates that the Phone (2a) will be available in black and white color variations. There is a chance that only one color will be released at first, with the second following later, as per Android Authority.

To round up the disclosures, the story claims that the Nothing Phone 2a will be unveiled at MWC 2024, which is set for February 27 in Barcelona. Nothing has been sent out for this event, and the corporation has not stated what it plans to launch here.
