REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Feb. 20, 2018 -- Host Analytics, the leading provider of scalable, cloud-based enterprise performance management (EPM) solutions, today announced its positioning by Nucleus Research in the “Leaders” quadrant of its CPM Value Matrix for the fifth consecutive year. The 2018 CPM Value Matrix report cites a strong track record and consistent performance as support for the Host Analytics leadership ranking.
More than 18 Corporate Performance Management (CPM) vendor solutions for financial planning, budgeting, consolidation, and reporting capabilities were evaluated. Nucleus Research determines rankings based on customer feedback, product demonstrations, and conversations about the market with vendors and users. They then characterize vendors based on product functionality and usability features to determine which solutions provide the most value to organizations.
"Customers reported that the Host Analytics user community is very positive and that they felt Host had a strong roadmap moving forward. Most users reported good support, a positive deployment process, and high ease-of-use,” said Barbara Peck, principal analyst at Nucleus Research. “With its move toward more advanced modeling, additional budgeting and consolidation functionalities, and user interface enhancements, Host Analytics will keep pace in functionality and improve in usability relative to the pace of the market in 2018."
In its report, Nucleus Research highlighted the introduction of three new Host Analytics products released in late 2017—Host Dashboards, Host Model Manager, and Host Solutions Exchange—underscoring the company’s continued investment in expanding its product portfolio and commitment to innovation. The Host Analytics EPM platform is used by more than 40,000 users at 700 companies worldwide.
"We’re delighted to be named a CPM leader by Nucleus Research for the past five years running,” said Dave Kellogg, chief executive officer at Host Analytics. “Not content to rest on our laurels, the Host Analytics team continues to advance the art and science of financial and operational planning, and deliver greater value to our customers. While CPM functionality is essential, usability is also paramount in this new era where finance, operations, and line of business leaders must collaborate and unite business planning with financial planning and budgeting.”
