Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Olympic Safari’ Set for August Launch Ahead of Paris Olympics
The Nike SB Dunk Low "Olympic," also known as "Safari," is anticipated to be released on August 9, 2024, for $125. Official images have been released.
Nike is prepared for the limelight as the world's foremost skateboarders prepare to compete in Paris this July for the second-ever skateboarding event in the Olympic Games. They have introduced the Nike SB PS8, a contemporary model, but sneaker devotees can also anticipate the Nike SB Dunk Low "Olympic Safari."
Sneaker News reported that just in time for the games in Paris, the Nike SB Dunk Low "Olympic Safari" is scheduled for a July release, following its initial preview in January. This Dunk is a companion to the SB Blazer Mid, and it shares the design concept inspired by the iconic Air Safari, which Tinker Hatfield created. The toe guard and heel overlay are adorned with the signature dotted pattern, while the light tan, black, and orange hues are reminiscent of the original colorway of Tinker's 1987 model.
Although only toddler-sized variants have been discovered thus far, additional images are anticipated shortly.
Nike is expected to release an entire apparel collection in conjunction with the footwear, although the official release date is still pending.
Nike Introduces Affordable GT Cut Cross in ‘Arctic Orange,’ Combining Style and Stability
The cost of next-generation models such as the Nike Zoom GT Cut 3 has become unaffordable for many as Nike Basketball's "Greater Than" series continues to gain popularity. Nevertheless, the Beaverton brand has introduced new budget-friendly hoop shoes with the same desirable attributes.
The Zoom GT Cut Cross is an exceptional value at $110, particularly appealing to defenders. Initially observed in May, the new model has since reemerged in various colorways for Fall 2024. The most recent iteration is "Arctic Orange/Teal." The GT Cut Academy is another cost-conscious option that shares a sole with the Cut Cross. However, the Cut Cross is most comparable to the GT Cut 3, as its name implies. FlyWire technology in the Cut 3 has been replaced by TPU swatches in the Cut Cross, designed to provide the same level of stability for crossover maneuvers.
The most recent pair is distinguished by a teal forefoot and "Arctic Orange" accents, predominantly on the medial side. The Swoosh logos are rendered in black, while the lining, heel, and numerous underlays offer a complementary off-white canvas.
The release dates for each GT Cut Cross previewed in the United States are still pending. Therefore, it is recommended that you visit the Sneaker Release Dates page regularly to stay informed about the most recent updates.
