“One Piece” Episode 856 has finally aired, and the match between Luffy and Katakuri continues.
As seen in the final moments of “One Piece” Episode 855, Luffy was prepared to activate Gear Fourth before Katakuri turned the walls into a huge pile of mochi in an attempt to suffocate the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates. With the fight was seemingly over in “One Piece” Episode 856, Katakuri called out to his chefs to bring him his snack as he makes a house entirely out of mochi.
Katakuri would tell his chefs not to let anyone disturb him while he eats, but he underestimated his opponent as Luffy eats his way out of the mochi. The chefs knew they were going to get in trouble if they allowed Luffy to disturb Katakuri so they tried to trick him into thinking the Sweet Commander had already left the Mirro-World. However, Luffy managed to use Kenbunshoku Haki to sense Katakuri’s presence inside the mochi house.
With a Gomu Gomu no Elephant Gun, Luffy breaks into the house and saw Katakuri eating with his face exposed. Well, he looked horrifying without his scarf covering his face. The Sweet Commander was furious and he killed the chefs to prevent them from telling anyone about the scars on his face.
So once again, the fight continues in “One Piece” Episode 856 with an enraged Katakuri overwhelming Luffy with his mastery of Busoshoku Haki. However, Katakuri’s concentrate would start to slip as Luffy managed to hit him.
The latter part of “One Piece” Episode 856 was full of action, but things are about to get interesting in the next episode as Luffy uses Gear Fourth.
“One Piece” Episode 856 is out on all Anime Streaming sites so check it out. Fans may also want to read the manga if they can’t wait to find out how the fight goes between Luffy and Katakuri.
