It would appear that the Straw Hats would now be dead or captured if they did not have very close friends with them in the form of Jinbei and his Sun pirates. The escape of Luffy and his crew in “One Piece” Episode 876 will be entirely dependent on the capabilities of these fishmen. This is especially true now that the Sunny has been severely damaged.
As TheAnimeScrolls reports, “One Piece” Episode 876 will be titled “The Man of Humanity and Justice – Jinbe, a Desperate Massive Ocean Current.” This is a direct hint of the role that Jinbei will play in the upcoming episode, with the giant Fishman risking his life in order to allow Luffy and Co. to get away. What will he do to actually make this happen considering they are surrounded on all sides?
Looking at the clip below, it would appear that it involves doing something crazy with the water that is only possible for those that live in the ocean. They could open a route by basically sinking the Sunny and simply letting the Straw Hats escape by going under the blockade set up by Big Mom’s pirates. This would seem to be the most sensible option short of flying. “One Piece” Episode 876 will reveal more on that front.
Before leaving things up to Jinbei, Luffy will be telling him to meet up with them in Wano when he can. As to whether or not the Fishman will actually be able to do this considering what he will be up against in “One Piece” Episode 876 remains to be seen.
In any case, “One Piece” Episode 876 will be hitting the small screen on March 10. It’s going to be a momentous episode for the anime, so fans might want to watch out for it when it drops.
