Those who watched the previous episode of the anime will have some ideas on what to expect from “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 9. Simply put, the fighters will now have to decide if they are going to become monsters to join Goketsu’s side or be killed by him. Suffice it to say, there will be those who will accept his offer and those who will reject it. The question now is who will be doing what.
One of the things that will make “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 9 so interesting, despite just how horrible the production value is, pertains to Suiryu’s character. The previous episode basically put him in a tough spot, Decider notes. In the upcoming segment, he will need to choose between his pride as a fighter and his life.
Now, there is no point in pretending that this martial artist is anything but a minor character. After the martial arts tournament arc, viewers are unlikely ever to see him again. However, his complex character simply makes him one of the most compelling figures to have ever come out of the “One Punch Man” universe. This is why his choice and situation in “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 9 will be of no surprise.
Simply put, he will not accept the offer by Goketsu, and this will come with consequences. Namely, he will need to deal with those who will accept the offer and be ordered to take him out. As monsters, the opponents will obviously be stronger than Suiryu. However, “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 9 will still give fans plenty of reasons to root for his survival.
Fortunately, “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 9 will also likely provide reprieve in the form of the only person who can easily stand up to these kinds of opponents. Viewers will know what this means when the episode airs on June 4.
