Garou was last seen unconscious and was being taken away by Phoenix Man to the Monster Association headquarters. However, the Hero Hunter would likely appear early on in “One Punch Man” season 3, where he would also immediately face a couple of fights both against a hero and some monsters.
'One Punch Man' season 3 spoilers: Garou’s next fight
Garou and Saitama’s next face-off happens as soon as the Hero Hunter goes out on the streets in “One Punch Man” season 3. However, it would be quite uneventful mostly because Saitama will not even realize that the dine-and-dasher he has pursued was actually Garou. So this encounter will not be much of a fight, especially since Saitama only accidentally knocks out Garou.
However, Garou’s next fight in “One Punch Man” season 3 would involve more action. It happens after he is knocked out by Saitama. Gyoro Gyoro ordered Royal Ripper and Bug God to tail Garou. He was hoping that the monsters would get in a fight with Garou that would wake up the latter’s monster instincts.
Royal Ripper and Bug God are disgusted by Garou, especially after he shows kindness for the kid named Tareo in the early episodes of “One Punch Man” season 3. The two monsters would fight Garou together and manage to inflict some minor injuries. But just as when Garou is confident he can read all of their movements, the monster Sludge Jellyfish arrives holding Tareo hostage.
This distracts Garou from the fight giving Royal Ripper and Bug God the chance to defeat the Hero Hunter in the early parts of “One Punch Man” season 3. Meanwhile, they will be taking Tareo back to the Monster Association HQ and keep him as a prisoner along with Waganma.
Note that these events are based on the manga chapters that follow the source materials of the season 2 finale. And since this fight sequence seems important in establishing Garou’s upcoming character development, it is most likely included in “One Punch Man” season 3.
'One Punch Man' season 3 release date
Unfortunately, fans are still on a waiting game for the announcement of “One Punch Man” season 3. But considering how this franchise has been one of the most popular titles in the manga and anime industries, a third season is almost certainly happening.
The “One Punch Man” season 3 confirmation might not happen in the next several months, though. The release dates of Blu-ray/DVD volumes of the second season are set through March 2020, producers might want to have this completed first before making any announcement about season 3.
