“Overlord” season 3 episode 8 is still set within the Great Tomb of Nazarick. And this is where the end of Foresight is expected to happen.
The brief preview for “Overlord” season 3 episode 8 is focused on the upcoming battle between Ainz Ooal Gown and the four members of the Foresight group. It can be recalled that Foresight is just one of the workers' groups who invaded the Great Tomb with the goal of stealing valuable items hidden inside.
It now appears that Foresight is the last group standing but it is also not to be taken as a lucky situation. In “Overlord” season 3 episode 8, Foresight will be brought to the arena, where they will face no less than Ainz, the Great Tomb’s overall boss. While Foresight has the advantage in number, they are obviously no match for the power of Ainz.
In the preview, Ainz is seen calmly entering the arena. And he is very confident he is going to win against all the Foresight members so that he did not even bother wearing a shirt for their fight in “Overlord” season 3 episode 8.
Meanwhile, fans who have read the light novel have an idea how “Overlord” season 3 episode 8 will end. The scenes where the Foresight goes up against Ainz are still part of the seventh light novel, originally titled “The Invaders of the Large Tomb,” released in 2014.
It is highly possible that Foresight will later realize that there is no way they can defeat Ainz in “Overlord” season 3 episode 8. With that, their leader, Hekkeran, will improvise and try to talk Ainz into letting them out of the Great Tomb alive.
Hekkeran will try to convince Ainz that one of this affiliates gave the workers the permission to enter the Great Tomb. But Ainz will not be deceived and Hekkeran’s attempt will further anger Ainz. The other members will attempt to distract Ainz and so Arche can find the chance to escape. While this might seem to work in the beginning, Arche is possibly going to be killed by Shalltear in “Overlord” season 3 episode 8.
Fans can watch “Overlord” season 3 episode 8 this week. Subscribers of Crunchyroll and Funimation can catch it on Tuesday, Aug. 28.
