“Ozark” season 3 is still waiting to be confirmed. It has been three months since the second installment ended but there is still no word from Netflix if the show is going to be recommissioned or not.
Show Renewal
Then again, fans should not worry because the renewal of “Ozark” season 3 is highly likely. Jason Bateman, one of the drama’s cast members, who is also an executive producer and recurring episode director, said that he is expecting Netflix to order new episodes.
Bateman appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and it was there where he revealed the potential arrival of “Ozark” season 3. At one point during their talk, he told Ellen, “Ozark looks like – god willing – it’ll be going for a little bit, so that’ll be six months of the year.”
Cast
“Ozark” season 3 is expected to keep most of its cast, with the exception of a few members, including Jason Butler Harner (Roy Petty), Trevor Long (Cade Langmore) and Janet McTeer (Helen Pierce), who were said to be exiting from the series. As cited by Radio Times, in season 2, Cade was shot by an unidentified man after he killed FBI agent Petty while Helen was moving to Chicago.
Other regulars like Jason Bateman (Marty Byrde), Laura Linney (Wendy Byrde), Sofia Hublitz (Charlotte Byrde) Skylar Gaertner, (Jonah Byrde), Jordana Spiro (Rachel Garrison), Julia Garner (Ruth Langmore), Peter Mullan (Jacob Snell) and Lisa Emery (Darlene Snell) are sure to return.
Air Date
“Ozark” season 3 is not in production yet so it is impossible to confirm its air date. However, if the usual pattern for the show’s premiere is to be followed, then it is likely to arrive in September 2019.
“Ozark” season 3 will continue the tale of the married couple Marty and Wendy Byrde, who got involved with money laundering activities for a drug cartel. Along with their two children, they sadly got mixed up with crooks and it is now hard to get out of the web of illegal deeds. In their bid to escape from the mess, they relocate to start a new life. But can they really get away from the criminals?
