In partnership with streetwear brand Perks and Mini (P.A.M.), PUMA introduces the highly anticipated fourth installment of their ongoing collaborative project, the PAM/PUMA BIO/VERSE. This latest collection seamlessly weaves together the themes of biodiversity, innovation, and exploration in sport.
Journey Through 'Being'
Spanning the scope of existence, the campaign features renowned Japanese rapper Tohji, who effortlessly transitions between the physical, meta, and microcosmic realms during a profound awakening.
Tohji's moment of enlightenment is captured against the backdrop of Tokyo and the mesmerizing Koke no Mori, also known as "The Moss Forest." Idan Barazani's masterful photography, stunning CGI environments by visual artist Matea Friend, and an uplifting soundtrack by Low Jack perfectly encapsulate Tohji's epiphany.
Unisex Designs for Enlightened Souls
In their joint pursuit of synthesized enlightenment, PUMA and P.A.M. have curated a set of versatile and unisex designs. In a press release, PUMA noted that the designs feature cryptic graphics and omnipotent logos that adorn a range of outdoor-ready apparel, footwear, and accessories.
Certain items even showcase individual snow-wash treatments, adding a distinctive one-of-a-kind touch. Furthermore, the collection takes sustainability seriously, incorporating materials such as mushroom leather and recycled cotton, polyester, and nylon.
Tribute to PUMA's Iconic Heritage
Within the PAM/PUMA BIO/VERSE collection, an ode to PUMA's iconic T7 tracksuit lies in the form of the Track Pants and Track Top. This matching set pays homage to PUMA's enduring legacy with asymmetrical contoured color blocking.
Trail-inspired garments like the reversible Padded Vest, equipped with water-repellent properties, and the Legionnaires Cap, featuring a removable neck shade, add a functional touch. The collection also boasts essential and easy-to-wear silhouettes, including Graphic T-shirts and Hoodies adorned with special graphics created by PUMA and P.A.M.
No collection is complete without practical accessories. PUMA and P.A.M. have thoughtfully designed the Backpack and Bottle Bag Set to withstand the rigors of your next adventure. Complementing the apparel range, these accessories ensure you're equipped with the essentials as you embark on new journeys.
The PAM/PUMA BIO/VERSE collection includes special-edition makeups of the PUMA Suede and Velophasis sneakers. The iconic Suede receives a revamp, featuring a protective mudguard on the toe, a suede upper, rope laces, and a co-branded PUMA x P.A.M. badge on the tongue. The Velophasis, on the other hand, showcases earthy sand and nut-brown tones, vibrant orange color pops, and a distinct co-branded panel on the heel. Both models embody the ideal blend of style and performance.
The PAM/PUMA BIO/VERSE SS24 collection will be available starting January 20, 2024. Enthusiasts can head to PUMA flagship stores, PUMA.com, P.A.M. stores, PERKSANDMINI.com, and select stockists to get their hands on these highly sought-after pieces.
PUMA and P.A.M., Sportskeeda reported, previously collaborated last April to create a unique collection that celebrates creativity and adventure. This collaboration demonstrated the dynamic fusion of the two brands' aesthetics and their commitment to pushing boundaries in fashion and sportswear.
