‘Power’ season 6 episode 11: Midseason premiere date revealed; Who shot Ghost and is he alive?

Power

“Power” season 6 episode 11 is coming in several weeks as the show is on midseason break. This is an awaited chapter because the previous “No One Can Stop Me” story ended with a shocking twist where James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) was shot. It was not revealed what exactly happened to him after that and the culprit also remained a mystery.

“Power” season 6 episode 11 will return with the story called “Still DRE.” There is no official synopsis yet for this but based on the available information, people around Ghost will have to deal with the consequences of the attack on him. It was suggested that his foes would also be troubled by the turn of events since they can be considered as suspects as well.

Is Ghost alive?

But luckily, it seems that Ghost will make it out alive following the ordeal and near-death experience. This was confirmed by showrunner Courtney Kemp. She told TV Line that “Power” season 6 episode 11 will feature Ghost and although he was shot, he will live since no one saw him actually die after being shot.

“He got shot. I didn’t see him die,” Kemp said when asked about Ghost’s fate. “Did you see him die? You did not.”

Who is the culprit?

Although Ghost has a number of foes now that he wants to move away from the dirty world of drug dealing, these foes are after him. They don’t want him to change and leave the business; thus they all become his enemies.

But who among them could have shot him? It is surprising that the suspects are people close to him instead. Some of the possible shooters include Dre, Tommy, Tate, Paz and even Tariq and Tasha. All of them have motives and personal grudge on Ghost thus they are on the list. However, there is a theory that it could be Quinton Wallace as well because Ghost “touched” Tasha.

Airdate - When is it returning?

“Power” season 6 episode 11 has been confirmed to be back on Jan. 5, 2020. Once it premieres, there are four more episodes before the series concludes. This episode was directed by Kieron Hawkes and written by Matt K. Turner.
