The addition of Meghan Markle into the British royal family has become the subject of many rumors that she is not getting along well with other members of the family, including Prince William. Those who are not big fans of the former Hollywood actress savor the little moments captured in videos or photos that seem to support this speculation of an ongoing family feud.
Prince William and Prince Charles ignore Meghan Markle on Christmas day?
A good example is a short video taken during the royal family’s Christmas walk in 2018. It was the first year Markle celebrated the holiday as the Duchess of Sussex, but rumors of underlying strife between Prince William and his new sister-in-law was already widely reported.
The said footage appears to have been captured just moments before the royal family commenced that year’s Christmas walk. Prince William is seen fixing his scarf when Meghan seemed to have attempted to strike up a conversation with a smile.

Amid the rumored royal family drama, some netizens find it hilarious that Prince William “scarfed” Meghan while others commented that the same scene happened with Prince Charles. Prince Harry’s wife appeared to have turned her attention to Prince Charles, but the heir apparent to the British throne is seen stepping forward and away from the Duchess of Sussex.
Only Prince William and Prince Charles confirm if the netizens’ interpretations of these moments are accurate, and they are unlikely going to address these kinds of internet-instigated drama. It should be noted that other photos published from the same event show a much happier scene among the royal family’s so-called Fab Four.
Meanwhile, the rumors about the growing rift between Prince William and Meghan’s husband has only intensified since last Christmas. “The Christmas walk will be interesting this year,” one Twitter user commented.
Prince William reportedly thought Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were ‘moving too quickly’
A royal source told PEOPLE last April that Prince William once told his younger brother that he might be “moving too quickly” with Meghan, and that did not sit well with Prince Harry. Reports of Prince Harry and Meghan dating started to emerge in 2016. By the end of 2017, their engagement was announced and was followed by their spring wedding in 2018. It can be recalled that Kate Middleton and Prince William dated for eight years, and have also spent some time apart, before tying the knot in 2011.
The rumors about the supposed rift between the prince brothers got worse when it was announced that Prince Harry is leaving the Royal Foundation. It has been his official charity organization along with Prince William and Kate Middleton until he married Meghan.
