Peter Phillips, the eldest grandson of the late Queen Elizabeth II, married pediatric nurse Harriet Sperling in a private royal wedding ceremony attended by King Charles III and several senior members of the British royal family. The event took place on Saturday at All Saints Church in Kemble, a picturesque village near Cirencester in south-west England.
Princess Anne, Peter Phillips’ mother, attended the ceremony alongside her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence. King Charles III and Queen Camilla were also present, highlighting the significance of the family gathering. Prince William and Princess Kate joined other senior royals in celebrating the couple’s special day.
Among the guests were Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, daughters of Prince Andrew, adding to the strong royal presence at the wedding. The intimate ceremony brought together multiple generations of the royal family for a rare public family celebration.
Peter Phillips, who is currently 19th in the line of succession to the British throne, is a successful sports management executive. His new wife, Harriet Sperling, works as a pediatric nurse and has built a respected career in healthcare.
The wedding marks a new chapter for Phillips following the end of his first marriage to Autumn Kelly. The couple finalized their divorce in 2021 after more than a decade together.
