It would seem that the fans of the much awaited comeback of the hit TV series ‘Prison Break’ will have to wait a little more longer as there are conflicts of schedule among the cast.
Seven long years have gone by since we last saw the season finale of Prison Break. One of the major things that happened on the episode "The Old Ball and Chain; Free Part 2” was the death of Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller). And now his fans will have another reason to rejoice as there will be a big possibility that he will come back to reprise his role.
The new season will actually be a reboot of the TV series so the comeback of Miller will not circle around him faking his own death, as suggested by the fans. Instead, series creators revealed that Michael's return will not have anything to do with his brain tumor and instead, it will become a part of a major twist.
Dominic Purcell who plays Lincoln, on other hand, is busy with his current work as a villain in the show ‘The Flash’ and ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ alongside Miller. Sara Wayne Callies also showed interest in joining the reboot and reprise her role as Sara Tancredi. Meanwhile, Robert Knepper also wants to return as the big bad T-Bag.
The schedule for filming will probably start this spring when the cast’s schedule are finalized. "They're at the script stage right now, and so they're gonna have to know who's in it, where we're gonna do it and when we're gonna do it," Callies explained.
Stay tuned and watch out for more updates.
