“Prison Break” season 6 is definitely returning as FOX president for entertainment, Michael Thorn, revealed the show has been renewed after being dormant for over a year. The executive also shared that the production of the series has already begun.
Dominic Purcell also communicated with fans to inform them if there are new updates regarding “Prison Break” season 6’s return. Recently, the drama’s lead actor posted a photo on Instagram and it shows himself standing beside a poster of “Prison Break” and he simply captioned it with #6.
Although there was no other word, it is easy to guess that he is referring to the upcoming “Prison Break” season 6. Fans are thrilled with this simple update because they have been waiting for months and now it is finally happening.
What to Expect?
“Prison Break” season 6 may feature lots of flashbacks because show creator Paul T. Scheuring said that the plot for the upcoming season will mostly be “a trip down the memory lane.” Perhaps, there is the possibility that it will also show backstories in order to explain the loose ends in the drama.
Paul T. Scheuring posted on Twitter, that “Prison Break” season 6 is “going back to the beginning.” It was also previously reported that he is finished writing the first episode and he could be doing the next ones by now.
As for the cast, “Prison Break” season 6 will definitely bring back Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller. They will be supported by Sarah Wayne Callies (Sara Tancredi-Scofield), ), Rockmond Dunbar (C-Note) and Amaury Nolasco (SucreRobert Knepper (T-Bag). There is still no news if there will be new faces this season.
“Prison Break” season 6 has yet to complete its filming in order to come up definite release schedule so it is not available at this time.
