“Queer Eye” season 4 has officially been renewed, and it is not just the fourth, but the fifth installment was confirmed as well. The group called the Fab 5 consists of Jonathan Van Ness, Bobby Berk, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, and Karamo Brown, and they will be back to provide not just laughter to the viewers but heartwarming stories too.
The third season of “Queer Eye” premiered in March and while it made the viewers cry with the touching moments, the upcoming season promised to arouse stronger feelings of sympathy, gratitude, and appreciation. Of course, it will not be short of funny scenes, so overall, it will be another season that is worth watching.
Series renewal and location
“Queer Eye” season 4 was announced on June 19 via social media. Netflix teased fans by uploading a short clip and revealing the air date and the state where the new stories will unfold. As mentioned, the Fab 5 headed to Kansas City, which is actually the same location as the previous season.
"Have you missed us? We missed you too,” Netflix wrote. “We’re back in Kansas City for Season 4."
New trailer
The first trailer for “Queer Eye” season 4 has been released, and the clip opened with Jonathan Van Ness speaking through Quincy Senior High School’s PA system. He announced his arrival and shared that he is a former student then wished the students’ a gorgeous day.
Later, while out driving, he revealed that the first person that they will be helping out is his former orchestra teacher named Kathy. Jonathan said that she is so dedicated to her work and students that she put herself aside. Apparently, the Fab 5 will give her a makeover in “Queer Eye” season 4.
The rest of the heroes for this season were also shown, and they promised to help them be the better version of themselves. The guys teased that “Queer Eye” season 4 will get everyone emotional, and Bobby Berk said at one point, "People should always remember: it's never too late to start over."
Airdate
There will be eight heroes in “Queer Eye” season 4, and the viewers will get to know them on July 19 when the show airs on Netflix. Meanwhile, season 5 will follow in early 2020, and it will be filmed in Philadelphia.
