Manchester, NH, Nov. 01, 2017 -- Join us at McNally Jackson Books in Soho to celebrate the third issue of Assignment. We’ll feature readings by contributors to the issue. Christine Smallwood writes the New Books column for Harper's Magazine. Her fiction has been published in The Paris Review, n+1, Vice, and Assignment. Anna Summers has translated and co-translated four volumes of Ludmilla Petrushevskaya’s work. Petrushevskaya is Russia’s most celebrated living author and playwright. Summer's most recent translation of Petrushevskaya’s work, The Girl from the Metropol Hotel, came out in February. David Moloney is the winner of the 2017 Assignment MFA Student Writing Contest.
