The Samsung Galaxy S10 is expected to be unveiled later this month. But before that happens, a new leaked photo suggests it will be announced along with Samsung’s version of Apple's AirPods.
The upcoming cordless earphones from the South Korean electronics company will be reportedly called the Galaxy Buds. It has been rumored for some time now but more information came out recently making it possible that the earphones will be unveiled on the same event where Samsung Galaxy S10 will be revealed.
91Mobiles reported late last month that the Galaxy Buds has been certified by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC). SamMobile also confirmed this news and added that the wireless earphones will a dedicated 8GB internal storage capacity and connectivity support through Bluetooth 5.0. Though it will be announced along with Samsung Galaxy S10, the Galaxy Buds are most likely compatible with a wide array of Bluetooth-enabled devices.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 is slated to be the company’s premium smartphone lineup for 2019 before another expected device, the Galaxy Note 9, is announced. The Samsung Unpacked event has already been announced to happen on Feb. 20 and many are expecting it is where the Galaxy S10 will be officially revealed as well.
Aside from the Galaxy Buds, pieces of information about the Samsung Galaxy S10 specifications have been reported earlier this month. One of the major changes is the inclusion of three rear-facing cameras. The company is also expected to improve its Infinity Display tech by introducing much small display bezels and playing the front camera beneath a punch hole.
WinFuture also recently reported that Samsung will announce three variants of Galaxy S10, the third one being the Galaxy S10E. It is rumored to be the least-expensive model of the lineup and, as expected, does not have some of the newest features. The Galaxy S10E will only have two rear cameras, a smaller 5.8-inch display, and without the in-display fingerprint reader.
