Aside from the Galaxy S22, Samsung is also anticipated to launch the Galaxy Tab S8 series in the coming months. While the company has yet to confirm its existence, more leaks have emerged online recently, including the supposed price list of Samsung’s next flagship tablets.
Appuals (via GSMArena) says its sources claimed the three-device Galaxy Tab S8 lineup will have WiFi-only and 5G versions with slightly different prices than their predecessors. The same report claims all base configurations of the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will have 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The Galaxy Tab S8’s alleged starting price ranges for the WiFi-only and 5G versions are €680-€700 and €830-€850, respectively. The Galaxy Tab S8+ WiFi model could be sold at €880-€890 and €1,040-€1,060 for the 5G version. For the new Ultra model, the WiFi model is expected to cost €1,040-€1,060, while its 5G model could be available for at least €1,200.
However, the actual cost of the Galaxy Tab S8 models could be higher, especially for models with higher specs. Appuals reported that all variants will also be available in versions with 256GB storage, while a 12GB RAM option is only expected for the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
The report pricing scheme should still be taken with a grain of salt, but they are slightly higher than the preceding tablets’ introductory prices — €799 for the Galaxy Tab S7 5G, €899 for the Galaxy Tab S8+ WiFi, and €1,099 for the Galaxy Tab S8+ 5G.
Renders of the three tablet models have already been circulating online, suggesting that the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will have a notch for a dual selfie camera. Now, live photos of the three tablets have also surfaced online through SamMobile, possibly revealing their measurements.
The images from leaked filings suggest the Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra will measure around 9.8" x 6.3", 11" x 7.1", and 12.6" x 8.3" respectively. As for their screen sizes, the upcoming tablets are expected to have displays measuring 11", 12.9", and 14.6".
Samsung is widely expected to announce the Galaxy S22 early next month. But the wait for the launch of the Galaxy Tab S8 series might take more time. In previous years, new Galaxy Tab S devices were announced in the summer.
