Samsung Galaxy Watch 2018 Release Date, Specs, Features: Rumored Watch Leaked Online; Samsung to Blame

Samsung Galaxy Watch

Samsung Galaxy Watch is not yet out on the market and Samsung has not launched it yet either. However, eagle-eyed tech aficionados spotted it on the company’s official U.S. web store, leading many to conclude that the rumors about the newest smartwatch are true after all.

According to CNET, the first publication to report about the Samsung Galaxy Watch leak, the gadget was seen on Monday morning and it was posted on the Samsung store listing, complete with a short product description. However, when the item is clicked on, the link leads to a dead page.

There is no official word from Samsung yet but tech experts are sure that the Korean company is set to launch the Samsung Galaxy Watch soon. The upload online may have been a mistake but it does not mean that the product does not exist. There is a photo to prove its existence after all.

Specifications/Description

Based on the leaked photo, the Samsung Galaxy Watch is going to be sold in rose gold but of course, there could be other options when Samsung unveils it officially. It is a 42mm smartwatch that looks a bit like the Samsung Gear S2 classic.

The watch has been tagged with the model number SM-R810NZDAXAR, which matched previous reports that Samsung is releasing a smartwatch with the label SM-R800. It features Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity.

At any rate, the leak also affirmed the earlier rumors that the gadget will be called Samsung Galaxy Watch, as per Droid Life.

Price and Release Date

Samsung has yet to confirm and release specific details about the Samsung Galaxy Watch. Once this happens, the price and exact release date will surely follow.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Watch predecessor, the Samsung Gear S3, just received a new update to fix issues with overheating batteries. The update brings the firmware version R770XXU2CRG3 to the S3 smartwatch.
