HOUSTON, Jan. 31, 2017 -- Sanchez Energy Corporation (NYSE:SN) (“Sanchez Energy” or the “Company”), announced today the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 10,000,000 shares of the Company's common stock at a price of $12.50 per share for total gross proceeds (before underwriting discounts and estimated offering expenses) of $125 million. The Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,500,000 shares of its common stock. The offering is expected to settle or close on February 6, 2017, subject to customary closing conditions. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for general corporate purposes, including working capital.
