CLEARWATER, Fla., March 31, 2016 -- The Church of Scientology invites executives and staff of local businesses to a reception on Wednesday, April 13th at their Scientology Information Center located at 500 Cleveland Street in downtown Clearwater. The reception is an opportunity for businesses to network in the beautiful Clearwater Bank Building, the home of the Scientology Information center. The reception will be from 6-8pm and there is no cost to attend. Hors d’ oeuvres and beverages will be served.
The Scientology Information Center houses four interactive displays, with close to 300 videos on Dianetics and Scientology, the Church’s humanitarian programs and Scientology’s founder, Mr. L. Ron Hubbard, among others.
Guests are also invited to tour the six adjacent humanitarian program centers, each dedicated to addressing specific social ills in the society, including: drug abuse, human rights violations, mental health advocacy and criminal rehabilitation.
Since its opening on July 11, 2015 the Scientology Information Center has welcomed over 8,000 guests from all walks of life. Events for members of human rights organizations, drug education associations, hospitality professionals, chefs, restaurateurs and local social groups have also been held at the Center.
“This is a great opportunity to meet fellow business leaders from the community, find out what Scientology is and to see the new Church of Scientology sponsored Humanitarian centers,” said Amber Skjelset, Manager of the Scientology Information Center.
