At a charging session in Slovakia, Tesla’s Cybertruck hit an impressive 405 kW peak charging rate, marking a significant milestone at the grand opening of a 600 kW electric vehicle charging hub in Bratislava.

Cybertruck Hits 405 kW Peak in Slovakia

Photos and videos taken during a charging session by a Tesla Cybertruck indicate that the electric pickup truck achieved a maximum charging rate of 405 kW.

According to Huntinspeed.sk, a slew of VIPs attended the grand launch of Ejoin's 600 kW charging hub for electric vehicles in Bratislava, the largest city in Slovakia and the capital of the country. Notable attendees included the renowned Slovak cyclist Peter Sagan and the all-electric pickup truck from the Czech company Cybertruck.cz.

Cybertruck.cz Charges Using 600 kW Charger

The Cybertruck.cz crew used the 600 kW charger to fully charge their electric pickup truck in celebration of the introduction of the ultra-fast charging hub.

Attendees were pleasantly surprised to hear that the Cybertruck reached a peak charging rate of 405 kW while traveling at 1,659 km/h. The fact that Tesla makes no mention of the Cybertruck's max charging rate being more than 400 kW makes these findings all the more startling.

According to reports, Cybertruck.cz's battery was only 7% charged when it hooked up to Ejoin's 600 kW charger.

Cybertruck Draws 32 kW When Nearly Full

If Teslarati is to be believed, the Cybertruck continued to draw 32 kW from the ultra-fast charging stall even when the battery was nearly full. These numbers for the Cybertruck are very astounding, if not groundbreaking.

The all-electric pickup truck's performance during its charging session at Ejoin's 600 kW charger suggests it is more capable than initially thought.

After all, the vehicle has taken a lot of heat because it supposedly lacks the capability of competing pickup trucks ever since it was released. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has insisted that the Cybertruck is the company's finest vehicle thus far, so this is really disappointing.

There must be more to the Cybertruck than meets the eye, given that it appears capable of charging at 405 kW.
