One of the most highly anticipated TV returns among comedy fans is “South Park” Season 23 where colorful characters in the adult cartoon will appear once again. Fans have become worried that something might have gone wrong with production since there have been no new announcements regarding the new season. However, viewers can rest assured that the show is coming back and in September too, if the reports are any indication.
While there have been no official announcements from the creators, previous South Park seasons have premiered on the eighth month of the year. “South Park” Season 23 is expected to be no different, OtakuKart reports, which would be a comforting bit of consistency on the part of the creators. On that note, there is the matter of the plot and storylines that have yet to be discussed.
Considering that this is “South Park” Season 23 being covered, one can argue that there is almost no point in trying to predict what the story of each episode will be about. The adult property has been as unpredictable and random as can be. On that note, the subjects that will be tackled might not be that much of a mystery.
To start with, there is no doubt that the 2020 elections will be covered by an episode or two in “South Park” Season 23. There might even be parody characters of those running in the race towards the presidency. It would certainly be hilarious to see the show’s take of the contenders from the Democratic party, especially considering just how many of them there are.
Whatever the case may be, it’s worth noting that “South Park” Season 23 will likely be as funny as previous ones with a healthy dose of realism thrown in. If the September premiere prediction comes true, it will just be a matter of time.
