“Stranger Things” Season 3 will not be dropping anytime soon, but this doesn’t mean that there are no tidbits related to the show popping up every now and again. For example, with Nov. 6 being “Stranger Things” Day, the folks behind the hugely popular Netflix series decided to celebrate. They did so with a special video clip featuring the cast greeting fans during the auspicious occasion.
The clip was posted on the Twitter account of the show, with the adorable young cast proclaiming that it is “Stranger Things” day in vintage VHR resolution. While it doesn’t offer anything of substance as far as “Stranger Things” Season 3 goes, it’s still nice to be reminded that it is coming. The sentiments of the made-up holiday were echoed by the fans of the show on social media and all over the internet.

As Inverse notes, the folks behind the massively popular show have yet to provide fans with any details about the show. The last tangible content related to “Stranger Things” Season 3 was the teaser that was released all the way back in April. Looking at the response from this particular celebration, however, it would seem that the fan base for the sci-fi thriller is quite alive.
With regards to what viewers can actually expect from “Stranger Things” Season 3, however, there have been some general details shared. For example, the classic zombie flick “Night of the Living Dead” by George Romero will supposedly have a major influence on how the new season goes. The new installment to the series will also take inspirations from “Halloween” and “The Fly.”
“Stranger Things” Season 3 is scheduled to premiere in the summer of 2019. Fans can expect a lot of spooky elements to surround this upcoming season, with the show maturing alongside the cast.
