The final season of the long-running show “Supernatural” is finally coming and it would appear that the series is going full circle. It will do so by essentially tackling the root of pretty much all of the problems that the Winchesters and all other hunters have had to deal with since the beginning. The main villain in “Supernatural” Season 15 will be God (Robert Patrick Benedict) and killing him makes quite a bit of sense.
The prospect of having to fight the literal father of all creation in “Supernatural” Season 15 will require the Winchester brothers to have more than some super-secret weapons. They will need allies and Digital Spy provides a list of potential names that might be worthy of the roles. On that note, the reason why making God the final enemy to overcome does go back to the very beginning of the show.
In a word, God is the reason for all of the suffering and carnage that the show’s characters have had to endure since the start. His departure caused chaos in heaven and all of his shenanigans allowed monsters and demons to exist. This is why confronting him in “Supernatural” Season 15 is basically coming full circle.
Finally, the root cause for all of the pain and the heartache that the Winchester family and every single hunter had to endure will be dealt with. The only question now is how this is going to turn out. After all, God’s death in “Supernatural” Season 15 is going to mean more than the death of some demons or even the lord of Hell himself.
Fans will find out soon enough what the implications will be since “Supernatural” Season 15 is expected to come out later this year. There has been no specific date announced, so viewers might want to stay tuned.
