Since Katie Holmes got divorced from Tom Cruise, she had primary physical custody of their only daughter Suri Cruise. Despite not spending a lot of time together, a source recently claimed that the 12-year-old girl is slowly becoming more like her father.
The report first came from Radar Online after a source stated that Suri Cruise is practically a “mini version” of the “Top Gun: Maverick” actor. “Suri is morphing into her father’s image in more ways than one, and it’s even taken Katie by surprise,” said the tipster.
The same source further insisted that Suri Cruise’s similarities with her father are beyond her appearance. It was reported that the child’s “personality is becoming more like Tom’s every day.”
This has reportedly bothered Katie Holmes. “It must be quite freaky for Katie, who is strong-willed herself but even she has to admit to her friends that Suri is becoming more and more like her dad,” said Radar Online’s insider.
On the other hand, Gossip Cop countered Radar Online’s report calling it a “total fabrication.” The fact-checking news outlet reached out to a representative of Suri Cruise’s mom who then denied allegations made about the 12-year-old girl.
Gossip Cop also reported that Katie Holmes is not bothered if Suri Cruise grows into having the same personality as her father. The spokesperson of the actress also clarified that no close friend of Holmes contacted Radar Online to provide the published statements.
Unfortunately, the young girl has been the subject of various gossip reports in the previous months. Just last month, another report claimed that Suri Cruise had been at odds with her mother because of Jamie Foxx.
This claim is tied to another unverified report that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are buying a house where they will be moving in together. Suri Cruise purportedly did not like the idea of living in the same house as her mom’s beau. But, just like Radar Online’s recent story, this was also denied by an official rep of the actress.
