KIRKLAND, Wash., March 4, 2016 -- The Talyst Long-Term Care Division, a leader in automated medication management for skilled nursing facilities and correctional institutions, announced the opening of TCIP (Talyst Certified InSite Pharmacy) University, an online learning portal that provides fully accredited online Continuing Education (CE) courses to the long-term care industry. These courses will provide a means for staff in long-term care and correctional facilities to maintain their CE contact hours. TCIP University's online courses are designed for staff to complete education in a timeframe that accommodates their schedules. Courses may be taken in increments from Internet-based computers or tablets anywhere, anytime at www.tcip-university.com.
TCIP University is making available some of the highest quality online education for long-term care nursing and correctional nursing communities. Our classes are developed by qualified instructors with years of real world experience in their field. All are accredited providers of continuing education through the California Board of Registered Nurses, Florida Board of Nursing and the Florida Board of Nursing Home Administrators. All states recognize the courses for accredited continuing education contact hours.
"Our experience in working with DON, RN, LPN, CNA, and Administrators - as we help them develop the new processes, technologies, and skills they use with our InSite System - had revealed a gap in availability and awareness of appropriate, flexible, and meaningful CE courses," said George Kondrach, General Manager of Talyst LTC. "We promptly found a solution with our partner, Pedagogy Online Campus, to sponsor their materials as we developed CE courses specific to The InSite System.
Over the past six years Pedagogy has developed over 100 courses and delivered CE credits to more than 10,000 students across more than 2,500 facilities – we are excited to leverage their experience and expertise and expand their reach even further."
TCIP University highlights include:
- The ability to listen to page-by-page audio files to enrich understanding of the written materials.
- Richly, illustrated and cross-referenced material to enhance your understanding and provide additional depth to course concepts.
- Achieve a test score above 80% - get instant availability to your certificate.
- Classes are reviewed every 6 months (minimum) to ensure that current and up-to-date concepts and topics are provided.
- Use the on-screen dictionary Quipedia to understand words and phrases.
- Improve the quality of care for your patients and facility by learning from experienced caregiver and authors.
