“The 100” season 5 is concluding, and a preview for the finale is now here to tease viewers about what they can expect. The finale was divided into two parts and the first one of episode 13’s “Damocles” already aired on July 31.
Air Date
Now, “The 100” season 5 finale’s part 2 is set to air on Tuesday, Aug. 7 at 8 p.m. on The CW. It will be an explosive and emotional ending, according to the show’s showrunner, Jason Rothenberg, and its cast members.
Spoilers
The war has started in Eden and it was the result of selfishness, doubtful allegiance, and destructive schemes. Of course, the heroes did try their best to avert the war but they obviously failed.
As Indra (Adina Elizabeth Porter) told Bellamy Blake (Bob Morley) in the second to last episode, “You did your best to stop this.” Both of them actually did but it proved to be not enough so the war still broke out in Eden.
With the war in the “The 100” season 5 finale, the series will definitely conclude with some deaths. They have no choice now but to fight to protect their own people, and defending them will surely come at a great price of losing some major heroes.
Based on the press release that was posted on The CW's website, the synopsis for “The 100” season 5 episode 13 goes, “Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and her friends must risk everything to fight one last battle for survival, only to glimpse an even darker threat to the last living valley on earth.”
It added that Bob Morley, Marie Avgeropoulos, Paige Turco, Henry Ian Cusick, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Chris Larkin and Tasya Teles are all starring in the second part of “Damocles,” which will air tomorrow.
Bob Morley also dropped some major hints to get the fans more excited. “There’s the impending war and Octavia’s decided to march towards Eden and there’s also the civil war happening,” Express quoted him as saying.
The lead actor noted that everyone will be gearing up for a big battle that was really bound to happen in the ending. He also hinted at “character development” in the conclusion by saying that those with relationship issues will show forgiveness.
Where to Watch It?
Fans of “The 100” season 5 can watch the finale, titled “Damocles,” on The CW in the U.S. while those who are in the U.K. can view it via Channel 4’s E4 at 9 p.m.
There will also be live streaming for those who do not have access to the mentioned channels. It will be available on video-on-demand service All4.
