“The 100” season 6 immediately follows after the fifth season concluded earlier this month. Many details are already available since the next installment is already in the works and fans should be happy as the production team is also expecting season 7 to be confirmed early.
The CW president Mark Pedowitz mentioned the high probability that a seventh installment will be given a go signal even while “The 100” season 6 is still in production. He said that this is possible because the show proved to have a large following among young adult viewers.
He added that their decision also depends on the series’ executive producer, Jason Rothernberg. If he has plans for more seasons beyond the sixth, then it can go on. “He (Jason Rothenberg) may have a six or seven-year plan to it. I don't know if I'm allowed to even say that, that he has a plan beyond year five, but he does,” Express quoted him as saying.
Cast
When “The 100” season 6 airs, some of the cast members may not be there anymore but the confirmed ones include Marie Avgeropoulos (Octavia Blake), Bob Morley (Bellamy Blake), Lindsey Morgan (Raven Reyes), Christopher Larkin (Monty Green), and Henry Ian Cusick (Marcus Kane).
Plot and Release Date
“The 100” season 6 production team has been keeping the plot a secret so it remains unknown at this time. However, the executive producer assured that the upcoming episodes will be a “whole new adventure.”
As for the air date, The CW is not confirming any exact day yet but the announcement may come at the end of this year. The series typically premieres between the months of January and April so it can be assumed that “The 100” season 6 is also arriving around this time.
