'The Amazing Race' Season 28 Episode 1 Spoilers: What is their itinerary?

If you love adventures and adrenaline pumping scenes then you are up for a treat as the 28th season of CBS' hit reality TV series 'The Amazing Race' has finally returned on the airwaves. Fans can’t be more than excited to welcome the new contestants of the show so if you are here to wander for clues then carry on reading.

This season will going to have yet another twist to the contestants and to the viewers as well. The team surely knows how to keep their viewers on their toes and keep them from wanting more. Season 28 introduces a first in the show since the racers, who are all social media personalities, have to start from their homes through a virtual starting line. Each team received an email from the host, Phil Keoghan, and attached is a video giving them their first clue in the race.

With the advent of social media, it is more than just to invite contestants who are into it and what better way to start the race than through virtual communication. According to Phil, the teams will now embark on an adventure of a lifetime. "In just 21 days, you'll visit 18 cities in ten countries, and travel more than 27,000 miles," Phil said. "And I have your next clue here in Mexico City at the Monument of Revolution," the host added.

The contestants readily packed their bags and went straight to the airport to embark on their journey. The promotional video released by the team showed the players in what could be a very daunting task for some especially those who are claustrophobic like Sheri since they are tasked to assemble pieces of an ancient artifact in an underground cave.

While contestants like Matt and Kurt have no problem working and finding the pieces, we will still yet to discover how the other players are progressing.

So stay tuned for more updates!
