“The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 5 will be putting Red (James Spader) into the courtroom again as his trial moves forward. At the moment, the circumstances are favoring Red’s side with the unauthorized search expected to be used to defend the Concierge of Crime, CarterMatt reported.
Hopefully, “The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 5 will drop the verdict as Red being in prison is breaking away from the show’s formula. The crime drama managed to amass a large fan base due to Spader’s superior acting and Red written the way he is. Keeping him in a cell proved to be interesting in the previous release, but would get old quickly now that he has control of the penitentiary.
And speaking of courtrooms, it seems that “The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 5 will be pushing the overarching plotline forward. According to Business Times, a crucial recording will be presented to the judge that may reveal that Liz (Megan Boone) is the one responsible for Red’s incarceration. Of course, given that Red is always several steps ahead of everyone, it’s safe to assume that he has known all along.
But even though this is the case, his treatment towards Liz is not expected to change. After all, it’s been heavily portrayed that Liz is Red’s major blind spot and he cares deeply for the agent. On the other hand, Liz is still determined to uncover the real identity of Red and this aspect will be further expanded on “The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 5.
Right now, Liz holds crucial yet incomplete information about his unofficial mentor. The information in question came in the form of a date, Oct. 31, 1991. It’s been revealed that during this time, an unknown patient came to Dr. Koehler’s (Kenneth Tigar) to undergo facial surgery. Liz suspects that this person and Red are one and the same. As for the release date of “The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 5, it’s scheduled to drop on Feb. 1 and fans can’t wait how Red maneuvers himself out of this legal entanglement.
