“The Dragon Prince” season 3 is expected to arrive very soon, and prior to its release, some details and spoilers have been posted already. Netflix’s most popular animated series has bee renewed earlier this year, and through social media, the fans learned that a new chapter is already in production.
Based on some reports, “The Dragon Prince” season 3 will consist of nine episodes, and of course, these will still be based on the book series of the same title. Most of the new information came from the recent WonderCon in Anaheim, California, as the show’s panel participated attended the event.
Series’ synopsis and plot details to know
The synopsis for the “The Dragon Prince” season 3 has been revealed, and according to IGN, it reads: “Rayla and Callum finally at the cusp of entering Xadia, while young Ezran returns home to take his place on the throne. Meanwhile, Lord Viren begins to realize the influence and power of his new ally – the mysterious Startouch elf, Aaravos.”
In addition, the viewers will be shocked to know that Harrow is officially dead in “The Dragon Prince” season 3. This means that his character will not be in the series anymore though he can still appear in the form of flashbacks.
Another thing to expect in “The Dragon Prince” season 3 is Ezra’s rise to kingship. He will decide to accept his fate to become the king, but he is only doing this to save his people. He wants to protect them, and rising to power is the only way to do it.
The new art book inspired by the animation
In any case, it was revealed that “The Dragon Prince” will be having an art book. As per Den of Geek, since the fans have been asking for more, the series creators and producers will soon grant their wish by releasing an art book set.
For this project, Dark Horse and Wonderstorm teamed up to produce the “The Art of The Dragon Prince,” the art book that will be published next summer. This is a collaborative work of co-creators Justin Richmond, Aaron Ehasz and executive producer Justin Santistevan.
