‘The Mick’ season 1’s episode 14, titled “The Heater,” will follow Mickey and Alba as they go on a gambling binge while Jimmy, Chip, and Sabrina compete over who gets to control the house while Mickey is away as well as who will handle the responsibilities of taking care of Ben.
The short synopsis for “The Heater” posted on TV Guide reads, “While Mickey (Kaitlin Olson) and Alba (Carla Jimenez) engage in a gambling binge, Jimmy (Scott MacArthur), Chip (Thomas Barbusca) and Sabrina (Sofia Black-D’Elia) battle for control of the house and who must take care of Ben (Jack Stanton).”
The upcoming episode will follow Mickey as she goes on a gambling binge with Alba. During Mickey’s absence, Jimmy, Chip, and Sabrina will be forced to compete over who gets total control of the house as well as who will take care of Ben.
In the previous episode, titled “The Bully,” Mickey attempted to help Sabrina after finding out that she was being bullied online by a classmate by learning how to be a cyber-bully herself. Despite her good intentions, Mickey only made matters worse.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Black-D’Elia expressed her excitement over episode 13 since it gave her a chance to show her character’s vulnerable side. The actress explained that Sabrina had always been known to be tough, angry, and cool but a specific moment in episode 13 managed to bring out her softer side.
In the same episode, Jimmy also attempted to extract his tooth himself with the help of Chip and Ben since he couldn’t afford proper tooth extraction. It turned out that he didn’t have any insurance.
‘The Mick’ season 1’s episode 14, titled “The Heater,” is scheduled to air on Fox on April 4, 2017. It will be followed by episode 15, titled “The Sleepover,” scheduled to be released on April 11.
