Nike’s latest collaboration with Monopoly brings the LeBron 22 to life with Boardwalk-inspired hues, set to release on November 19. Meanwhile, sneaker fans await the 2025 Air Jordan 1 “Rare Air Cinnabar” drop, blending design cues from iconic Jordan releases for a fresh take on the classic silhouette.

LeBron 22 Gets Monopoly Makeover, Inspired by Iconic Boardwalk and Park Place Colors

Nike’s latest LeBron 22 release spotlights a favorite James family activity in collaboration with Hasbro’s iconic Monopoly franchise. According to Sneaker News, this November 2024 drop features two Monopoly-themed colorways, with one pair already previewed in a multi-colored design inspired by the board game’s signature currency. The newest reveal, however, draws directly from Monopoly’s prime real estate.

Monopoly fans will immediately recognize the “Deep Royal Blue” hue that envelops this LeBron 22 iteration, evoking the colors of the Boardwalk and Park Place properties—Monopoly’s highest-value assets. Nike elevates the luxury theme with laser-engraved detailing across the shoe’s upper, showcasing an abstract motif that reflects the game’s premium elements. The design is accented by a “Metallic Gold” Swoosh and piping, while Monopoly branding on the lateral quarter adds an official touch. Official images reveal that the Monopoly x Nike LeBron 22 will be available on November 19 for $200, accompanied by an alternate colorway in the series.

Air Jordan 1 ‘Rare Air Cinnabar’ Debuts Unique Features, Adds Vintage Flair for 2025

Meanwhile, looking ahead to 2025, sneaker enthusiasts will recognize the stacked lineup of Jordan releases on the horizon. From high-profile drops like the Undefeated Jordan 4 and the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard,” Nike continues to expand its catalog with details emerging on the Air Jordan 1 “Rare Air Cinnabar.”

The “Rare Air Cinnabar” colorway, paired with its “Game Royal” counterpart, connects thematically to previously showcased “Rare Air” editions of the Jordan 3 and Jordan 4. The AJ3 and AJ4 highlighted unique branding elements and color schemes rooted in red and blue. The Air Jordan 1 also introduces new touches, placing the Wings logo on both the lateral and medial sides for the first time and featuring “Nike Air” text on the interior wing, diverging from the usual “Air Jordan” branding.

Additional details like single-stitched anchors, dual terry cloth laces, and a raw suede Swoosh bring nuanced layers to the Air Jordan 1’s design. With a palette that combines vintage-inspired off-white soles and classic “Varsity Red” accents, this release also subtly nods to “Neutral Grey” elements. Customizations by designer Ev Bravado of Who Decides War brought the “Rare Air” Jordan 1 to the forefront at New York Fashion Week, validating its 2025 status.

Although release dates are subject to change, the Air Jordan 1 “Rare Air Cinnabar” is currently slated for an April 2025 launch with a retail price of $180.
