The Walking Dead’ season 7’s episode 13, titled “Bury Me Here,” will feature Carol back in action as she leaves the safety of her home behind. Meanwhile, an imminent battle will take place between the Kingdom and the Saviors during their routine supply drop-off.
The brief synopsis for “Bury Me Here” posted on TV Guide reads, “Keeping with the routine supply drop-off, a group of Kingdommers deliver goods to the Saviors, but things don't go as planned.”
It seems that an imminent battle between the Kingdom and the Saviors will take place in the upcoming episode of AMC’s popular horror-drama television series based on the comic book series created by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard.
The promo opens to the empowered Carol (Melissa McBride) leaving her home and hitting the open road, armed and ready to take on her new task. It is unclear what her role in the impending rebellion against the notorious Saviors will be but it is bound to be an important one.
According to the Independent, it may be possible that Carol will learn the truth about Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Abraham’s (Michael Cudlitz) murder in the hands of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Daryl (Norman Reedus) managed to keep this a secret from her in the past episodes.
Meanwhile, the final scene from the promo also shows Ezekiel (Khary Payton) and his people from the Kingdom facing off with another group. Ezekiel looks fierce ad ready to put up a fight as he pulls a gun out to the threat on the other side.
According to Comicbook.com, executive producer Greg Nicotero promised “redemption” for the final moments of the current season. He said, "I think our momentum continues forward, and seeing where we are now, and these various groups of people, it really builds to a very different finale than we've done in the past.”
Nicotero continued, “I always love what we do on The Walking Dead because we set everything up in the first half of the season, and then we start putting the gas pedal down. And seeing Rick as old Rick Grimes, and being like, 'That's the guy that we have wanted to see and that we love seeing.”
He added, “The fact that we get a chance to see a lot more Daryl. It's really great. These episodes are really fulfilling this journey that we dragged our audience down in these deep, dark places in the first half of the season, to serve this redemption. And it's really important that our audience understands that, listen, sometimes you're watching something that might be uncomfortable, but there is a means to the end. The satisfying aspect of these episodes is because we built to it.”
‘The Walking Dead’ season 7’s episode 13, titled “Bury Me Here,” is scheduled to air on AMC on March 12, 2017. It will be followed by episode 14, titled “The Other Side," scheduled to be released on March 19.
