ISELIN, N.J., April 02, 2018 -- UBM Life Sciences Group’s Pharmaceutical Executive today opened nominations for Emerging Pharma Leaders, an awards program that for 10 years has recognized and honored up-and-coming professionals who are vital to the future of the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.
“It’s time again for us to ask, ‘Are you, or is your colleague, a leader in pharma?’” said Lisa Henderson, editor-in-chief of Pharmaceutical Executive. “Every year, nominees and winners find ways to inspire us. It's exciting to highlight their unique skills and qualities.”
Nominations of professionals employed by pharmaceutical or biotech companies will be judged by members of Pharmaceutical Executive’s editorial advisory board, and an Emerging Pharma Leaders alumnus.
“Emerging Pharma Leaders live and work across the world, but all share key qualities,” continued Henderson. “They show willingness to grow. They have the ability to listen. They learn from their mentors, and bring a special enthusiasm to lead their staff and share the load.”
Pharmaceutical Executive will accept nominations through June 30, 2018, reveal this year's winners through a special feature in its October issue, and celebrate their accomplishments with other industry leaders at a special, in-person event in November.
