Launched Oct. 16, UMX’s account combines trading in U.S. and Hong Kong securities with crypto and cross-asset margin, all within one service for professional investors.

Investors can trade shares and exchange-traded funds listed in the U.S. and Hong Kong, alongside U.S. stock options and crypto. Funds can be transferred among securities holdings, crypto positions and fiat balances. Avenir Group incubated UMX, which targets professional investors.

The account is intended to ease allocation across markets, where securities and digital assets can sit in separate account structures and buying power may be fragmented.

UMX opened public testing Aug. 10 and logged 788 pieces of product feedback. The full release included 89 user requests.
