The 10th annual conference brings together senior specialists for a discussion on economics, security, and American politics, as well as, the economic dimensions of current critical and fundamental national and global security issues animating American political discourse.
“Mr. Illien is looking forward to 2016 US Presidential candidate and US Senator Bernie Sanders comments on the state of American politics, as well as, national and global security. On the topic of American politics, Mr Illien would like to express his profound concern vis-à-vis the purity and sanctity of U.S. government institutions in the context of alleged foreign intervention in the 2016 US elections, alleged collusion with a candidate for the office of U.S. President, and alleged potentially unethical and/ or “rigged” influence over party nominations exercised by a candidate for U.S. President,” said Sydney Kyle, a spokeswoman for Diplomatic Advisors International.
“Mr. Illien would also like to express additionally acute concern over the escalating and developing security events, and risks to American and global security, including the threat of regional and nuclear war with North Korea, the tragic deaths of U.S. special operations forces conducting foreign internal defense operations in Niger, as well as, ongoing situations in Iran, Iraq, Ukraine, Somalia, Chad, Libya, Mexico, Yemen, Burkina Faso, Philippines, Sudan, Kashmir, Myanmar, the Kurdish region, among other hotspots across the globe” added Ms Kyle.
Illien touches down in the US Capitol as 44th US President Donald Trump completes a 13 day trip to throughout Asia (Japan, China, South Korea, Vietnam, and the Philippines) encompassing high priority topics such as global growth, trade, and security, and meetings. U.S President Trump also meets with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, Japanese President Shinzo Abe, Chinese President Xi Jingping, South Korean President Moon Jae in, and Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang, before attending the U.S.-ASEAN Summit and East Asia Summit.

Mr. Illien also recently met with Her Royal Highness Princess Kesang Choden Wangchuk of the Kingdom of Bhutan, which measures Gross National Happiness, instead of GDP, to discuss the internationalization of Gross National Happiness, part of a broader strategy to advance the UN’s call for Gross Global Happiness and the Happiness for All™ initiative launched by Illien Global Public Benefit Corporation in 2006.
