Wendy’s latest Frosty flavor, Chocolate-Covered Pretzel, is making waves internationally, with fans in Trinidad and Tobago enjoying the sweet and salty treat. Meanwhile, U.S. fans are expressing frustration on social media, wondering when this new flavor and other unique Frosty variations will make it stateside.

Wendy’s International Frosty Flavors Spark Frustration Among U.S. Fans After Latest Release Abroad

Wendy’s has offered the beloved Frosty on its menu since 1969, providing fast food enthusiasts with a sweet and refreshing treat to pair with their burgers and fries. In 2006, the company began experimenting with new Frosty flavors, introducing varieties like vanilla, strawberry, peppermint, and more. However, some American fans have recently expressed frustration as they notice international Wendy’s locations enjoying flavors that have yet to make their way to the U.S.

On October 11, food blogger Snackolator revealed that Wendy’s is rolling out a Chocolate-Covered Pretzel Frosty in Trinidad and Tobago, sparking disappointment among U.S. fans who feel left out. “When is USA gonna get something good?” one fan commented on Instagram, while another added, “Nothing good ever comes to USA Wendy’s.”

Other fans echoed similar sentiments, with comments like, “Need this in the U.S.,” and “Why is the USA so scared of having mix-ins for Frosty? Do it.” The new Frosty flavor features a vanilla or chocolate base, fudge swirls, and crushed pretzels. It offers the irresistible combination of sweet and salty flavors that Wendy’s fans love—especially those who enjoy dipping fries into their Frosty.

More Frosty Flavors Could Be Coming to U.S., Including a Peanut Butter or Frozen Hot Chocolate Twist

Snackolator speculated that more flavor options might be on the horizon for U.S. locations, as Wendy’s seems to be embracing swirls and mix-ins. The blogger even suggested adding peanut butter sauce, predicting it could become a top Frosty flavor of all time.

Adding to the anticipation, Wendy’s recently announced that its U.K. locations will soon offer a limited-edition Frozen Hot Chocolate Frosty. The chain described this new creation as capturing “the comforting taste of hot chocolate chilled into a cool, creamy delight,” featuring Wendy’s signature Chocolate Frosty with a rich chocolate sauce swirl and topped with fluffy mini marshmallows.
