Washington, D.C., Oct. 03, 2017 -- Vital Voices Global Partnership announced the recent election of two new members of the Board: Ashley Davis, Partner at West Front Strategies, and Bozoma Saint John, Chief Brand Officer at Uber.

Bozoma Saint John embodies the concept of female empowerment. Saint John joins the Board of Vital Voices as a rising star in the marketing and advertising sector and as a role model for female leadership.

Saint John currently serves as the Chief Brand Officer at Uber, where she is the ultimate creative storyteller for Uber's drivers, riders, and cities. Previously Saint John served as the Head of Global Consumer Marketing at Apple. During her time at Apple, Saint John was featured by Fortune as one of 2016’s “40 Under 40”, in recognition for her work not only at Apple, but at Beats and PepsiCo as well. A recent recipient of the Africa America Institute’s Award for Innovation and Leadership, Saint John also contributes her time and expertise to a number of groups including the Leadership Council for the United Nation’s partnership with the PVBLIC foundation and serves on the Board of Directors for Girls Who Code.
Ashley Davis has been a champion of Vital Voices as the Co-Chair of the Vital Voices D.C. Council.

Davis is the founder and a current partner at West Front Strategies, one of the few women-majority owned lobbying firms in Washington, D.C. Davis has also served in the White House in several capacities, including as Special Assistant to Director of Homeland Security Tom Ridge and as a member of the Bush-Cheney Transition Team. She also sits on various boards of directors, including the National Women’s in the Art Museum, the Board of Trustees at Westminster College and the Women’s Democracy Network at the International Republican Institute.
