The “Warcraft 3: Reforged” release date is finally here. But for players with older gaming rigs, now is probably the right time to check the game’s system requirements one last time.
When “Warcraft 3: Reforged” unlocks
The remastered version of Blizzard’s massively popular real-time strategy game is finally here. The exact release date and time of “Warcraft 3: Reforged” is January 28 and the game will be unlocked at exactly 3 p.m. PT, according to PC Gamer.
However, the exact time and date might be slightly different for gamers located in different time zones. But fret not, here’s a quick guide for international players. As an alternative, one can also learn when the game drops in their local time via any of those time conversion sites.
For those living in Rio, the game unlocks at 8 p.m. on January 28 while London gamers will have to wait until 11 p.m. local time. Meanwhile, the game will only become available on January 29 for some international locations such as Berlin (12 a.m.), Moscow (2 a.m.), Dubai (3 a.m.), Mumbai (4:30 a.m.), Singapore/Beijing, (7 a.m.), Tokyo (8 a.m.), Sydney (10 a.m.), and Auckland (12 p.m.).
It must be noted that the Arranged Team mode won’t be available on “Warcraft 3: Reforged upon its launch. “We decided it was more important to get this behemoth of a patch out the door then continue to delay,” Blizzard announced. “That means AT will return with Reforged, not before.”
System Requirements
Meanwhile, Blizzard already announced the game’s minimum system requirements as well. For the operating system, the computer must run on Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10. The minimum CPU should be Intel Pentium D or AMD Athlon 64 X2.
The computer should have at least an NVIDIA GeForce 6800 (256 MB) or ATI HD 3650 Pro (256 MB) as its graphics card, according to Otakukart. The gaming rig should have at least 2 GB of RAM as well as 3 GB of free disk space for the smooth running of the game.
The PC should be connected to a broadband internet connection as well. For the best graphics output, the display must of a minimum resolution of 1280 x 720 minimum. Again, these are just the minimum requirements, which means that higher specs would be preferable.
