“Westworld” season 3 has been guaranteed to come back as HBO already confirmed its renewal back in May. The series was renewed even before season 2 aired on April 22 and this just means that it has a good following.
With regards to their early decision to have “Westworld” season 3, HBO programming president Casey Bloys said, via The Hollywood Reporter, “From the inspired storytelling to the incredible visuals, we are so excited to see where the next chapter will take us.”
Storyline
Now, what will “Westworld” season 3 be like? The show’s executive producer, Lisa Joy, opened up about what they are planning for the next season. In her interview with Stuff, she revealed the future of the drama.
"We have an ending in mind; we've had it from the pilot. It's very emotional, I think,” she said. “I can't tell you exactly when that ending will come but I think for every season what we try to do is tell a chapter of the story that gives you closure and then opens a door to a new chapter."
Returning Cast
Since it is certain that HBO is airing “Westworld” season 3, some of the cast members were already confirmed to appear in it. Firstly, Evan Rachel Wood (Dolores Abernathy) and Thandie Newton (Maeve Millay) are sure to reprise their roles once again.
