Blizzard Entertainment has introduced a way for “World of Warcraft” players to pay attention to various elements of the game. It is by choosing certain activities as the focus of a Weekly Bonus Event, and “Battle for Azeroth” dungeons happens to be where the special rewards are right now.
It’s a rewarding week to play ‘Battle for Azeroth’ dungeons
The limited-time event that started Tuesday allows gamers to collect some exclusive rewards when they play in “World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth” dungeons. Keep in mind that the event requires players to choose the Normal or Heroic difficulty to qualify for the bonuses.
It is also an option to explore Atal’Dazar, Temple of Sethraliss, The Underrot, The MOTHERLODE, Freehold, Shrine of the Storm, Tol Dagor, and Waycrest Manor dungeons in Mythic difficulty. When choosing this route, gamers should make they are going in with skilled “World of Warcraft” players to avoid futile attempts to collect the prizes.
Part of the ongoing “World of Warcraft” bonus event is participating in the Emissary of War quest that will be provided upon encountering Chronicler Shoopa in Zuldazar or Chronicler Toopa in Boralus. This, however, requires players to accomplish at least four dungeon matches in Mythic difficulty.
Every final dungeon boss will drop loot items regardless of the difficulty chosen. But the ultimate reward is a loot box that comes with a guaranteed gear from that is usually exclusive for Ny'alotha, The Waking City conquerors in Heroic difficulty. The event should be live until Monday, June 15.
‘World of Warcraft: Shadowlands’ event is delayed to unknown schedule
The “Battle for Azeroth” week-long bonus was not supposedly the only special event happening for “World of Warcraft” this week. Blizzard Entertainment scheduled an exclusive livestream preview of the game’s next expansion “Shadowlands” last Tuesday.
More important voices than ours need to be heard, and now is the time to listen.

We are postponing our upcoming World of Warcraft: Shadowlands livestream planned for June 9, and will share more details about the expansion in the future.
However, Blizzard decided to postpone the event out of respect for the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests around the world with the new schedule yet to be announced. Other video game companies showed support in different ways such as holding in-game events to pay tribute to George Floyd and some even temporarily disabled certain gameplay features for a brief period. Blizzard’s show of solidarity is noteworthy, but some fans have not forgotten Blizzard’s decision to ban “Hearthstone” professional player Chung Ng Wai, aka blitzchung, after expressing support for Hong Kong protesters last year.
