The Xiaomi Mi A2 is the upgraded version of the Xiaomi Mi A1 and it comes with a few exciting features. International fans of the Xiaomi brand will be particularly happy with this new version because of how it comes with the Android One OS. Most other Xiaomi smartphones come with the MIUI, which can be a huge issue for a lot of users. What’s more, the Xiaomi Mi A2 is apparently coming with a new telephoto and portrait mode.
As Digital Trends recently reported, today is the Global launch of the Xiaomi Mi A2. Apparently, the company is unveiling two variants of the smartphone, which would be the Xiaomi Mi A2 and the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite. The latter is particularly interesting because of how it closely resembles the features of the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 6.
Apparently, the Xiaomi Mi A2 will come in three color variants, namely black, gold, and blue. The prices also differ depending on which variant is purchased, going from $290 to $370. What really makes the Xiaomi Mi A2 so interesting, however, is the fact that it comes with Android One. This makes it preferable to the MIUI that Xiaomi usually installs in its devices.
In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi Mi A2 also sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. It comes with 4GB of RAM for the base model while the higher-end variant comes with 6GB of RAM. Likewise, the 64GB and 128GB internal memory options follow the same order.
On that note, it seems Xiaomi isn’t done teasing fans about what the features of the Xiaomi Mi A2 will be. The company has teased that it will come with a telephoto lens, GSMArena reports. A new portrait mode was also teased, which should make for an interesting experience with the device. Suffice it to say, this might be a gadget worth checking out.
