Doctoral Candidate, Deakin University Ameena is an emerging qualitative researcher and former university educator. She has taught within the disciplines of education and business in both higher education and vocational education at Swinburne Online. Within higher education, she specialised in first year, foundation units for mature age students. Holding a Master of Education, Ameena is currently a PhD Candidate at Deakin University’s Centre for Research in Assessment and Digital Learning (CRADLE). She is a recipient of her alma mater’s Outstanding Young Alumna Award (2022) and is interested in socially just and equitable higher education. Her doctoral research explores the lived feedback experiences of Global Majority university students in Australia. Ameena is a Fellow of Advance HE and a Fellow of Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA).
