The first trailer and set photos for Season 3 of “iZombie” finally arrived. The CW zombie drama, which is set to have a two-hour April 4 premiere in the US, will have Liv (Rose McIver), Major (Robert Buckley), Blaine (David Anders), Clive (Malcolm Goodwin), Ravi (Rahul Kohli), and Peyton (Aly Michalka) navigate a growing zombie crisis.
The Season 3 overall synopsis at Screencrush read, “Liv and Clive investigate the murder of a zombie family that may just set off an all-out zombie-human war. Ravi’s former boss at the Center for Disease Control shows up in Seattle to investigate the Max Rager massacre. Blaine finds living as a human with no memory of his evil past is more blessing than curse. Peyton pulls at a thread in one of her cases that may lead to the villain that’s pulling all the strings… Major was exonerated for the crimes of the Chaos Killer, but is still considered a pariah. He manages to land a job with the one and only place that will hire him.”
The photos appears to back up the synopsis, or at least the season premiere’s, with one showing Clive, Liv, and Major in confrontation with someone. Comicbook.com said the first episode, titled "Heaven Just Got A Little Smoother,” will have our heroes confront the revelations from the Season 2 finale. After Liv finally showing Clive her true nature, it would be interesting how their relationship as partners would be moving forward. Major, meanwhile, appears to be on an interview, and it’s obviously for his former job at Max Rager’s new boss.
As for what’s next for the other members of “Team Z,” it appears that they will be dealing with a new enemy, the mysterious zombie corporation Filmore Graves, Den of Geek reported.
